I
LOVE my family. I didn't realize how much I loved them until I was away at
college. I wouldn't trade my family for anything in the world. I have learned
so much from them. I've learned to love deeper, laugh harder, work harder, have
a positive attitude, and to be okay, being myself.
My mother is the strongest
woman I know. She is patient, loving, and kind. When preparing to be a mother
someday, I strive to be everything that my mother is. I can’t wait 'til the
day my children meet their grandma. And my dad has shown me that through hard
work and faith, I can reach my goals. He has also taught me to love my heritage
and my ancestors for what they have sacrificed for me so, I can be here today.
I have three younger siblings. TYLER is 2 years younger than me, and is a foot taller than me (and is
probably still growing). Basically, Tyler is sarcastic and funny without even
trying. He will always be my [big] little brother. When I need a laugh, I can
go to him. And he's our Marine. JORDAN is about 4 ½ years younger than me. He is always full of
energy and is caring & smart. Without a doubt, Jordan will always have an
interesting science or random fact to share, that he either learned from school
or from watching the History, Discovery, or Military channel. And I love how
Jordan loves to talk to everyone. My youngest sibling is KATELYN who is known as my adorable little sister who is
about 7 ½ years younger than me. She is everything that I aspire to be. She is
so thoughtful, loving, smart, and determined. When Katelyn sets her heart and mind
on something, she doesn't stop practicing/working at it, until she accomplishes
it. And I admire her for that. When writing and thinking about my family, I am
overwhelmed with gratitude and happiness. I am so blessed. With this being said, my family is
definitely not perfect. But whose family is? I have learned to love my family’s
imperfections, perfectly. Without our flaws, we wouldn't be as strong, as
close, and none of us would've grown as much. My family will always be my forever.
